For travellers who aren't afraid to explore Amsterdam's lively atmosphere, Meetingpoint is the best place to crash. In our hostel you'll meet fellow travellers from all over the world. They have come here with only one reason to explore and experience a magnificent city.
Our hostel is, as the name already implies, the perfect place to meet people, exchange travel stories and find new experiences. It also Amsterdam's tradition of ‘gezelligheid' (cosiness) and the atmosphere is very friendly. Once in your lifetime you'll have to experience it all. Amsterdam fulfils all your expectations.
The hostel is situated in the heart of the centre of Amsterdam, just 2 minutes walk from Central Station. It is close to all main public transportation, and also to the Red Light District.
We have mixed dorm rooms with 8 and 18 beds. We have no curfew and the hostel bar is also open 24 hours only for the hostel guests.
PLease notice that the minimum age is 18 years old and that the hostel is not well suited for young kids.

Hostel Meetingpoint is just 2 minutes walk from the Central Station in Amsterdam. When you get out of the station walk straight towards the 5 star Hotel Victoria. Then turn to your left and cross the bridge. Walk straight and turn the first street to your right. Now you are in the Warmoesstraat and if you look up you can see our hostel sign.

The hostel is great, very well located, very close to the Central railway station. It is very cheap and the this property in very good condition, people very nice, explained you everything, the bathroom is impeccably clean. At the reception there is a Spanish girl who helps you much and gives you lots of information about Amstemdam. I had an excellent stay in this hostel. If I have opportunity to return to Amsterdam would return to the same Hostel: D

Hostel well located very, on a channel. The staff is friendly and courtoit. 20 Dormitories are rather cool, linen impeccaoble. Sanitary and kitchen ok. However the location lacking of atmosphere, no scene is adapted for meetings; a smoker or a bar space would be ideal.

Staff very welcoming and available throughout (hostel and bar open 24 hours).
Very well placed (at the beginning of the Red district, 10 min grand central station on foot max).
We were anxious to be in a room of 18 person but it it is very well spent, the occupants are respectful to each other and there are very large lockers available to us.
Very clean, sanitary, rooms, beds and mattress of good quality (only problem: the light of the morning).
Bar private very nice hotel, at the same price as the bars in the city.
However the wifi works poorly and there is no refrigerator or microwave available (but can be a nice breakfast for €2.50 only).
Computers available but pay.
Global assessment: very good hostel, we the strongly recommend.

De lo más barato que puedas encontrar en Ámsterdam. No es un 5 estrellas, pero bueno, se puede estar. El tío de allí lo limpia todas las mañanas y los de recepción son bastante agradables. Bastante seguro y cerca de casi todos los puntos de interés.

hostel is good...provides good security to inmates and the ppl are very honest too
however it is nt centrally located bt near the railway station
the hostel can do well by providing breakfast for its guests
