With two different kinds of facilities, a hostel and a hotel style, M&J satisfies all of your expectations.
There is a Zen style hotel rooms on the first two floors, with single, double, triple and family rooms with private bathrooms, satellite tv - within affordable prices. And then there are 2 floors of dorms, most with private bathrooms.

Our bar: The Living Room Cafe which is open all day long. If you're craving for eggs and bacon, Pasta Salad or Pizza, the Living Room is the place to be for breakfast, lunch and dinner or for a cold beer or a cocktail at night. Later in the day you can choose different menu options including pasta, salads and deserts (Tiramisu').
Reservation policy:
Payment is cash upon arrival!
You must re-confirm your booking at least one day prior your arrival date.
Cancellations are accepted also 2 day prior your arrival.
The New Rome CITY TAX ( 01/01/2011) is NOT INCLUDED in the price of your bed. The amount is 2 euro per person per night, to be payd in cash at arrival.

When you reserve beds at M & J's, please re-confirm your booking at least one day before your arrival. Cancellations or Changes are accepted 24 hours prior to your arrival by fax or email. (use the same from reservation. )

-From Termini Train Station Exit on via Marsala then go left. At traffic light turn right. M&J Place Hostels Rome via Solferino 9 .
-From Termini Train Station Take Termini main exit then follow to the main road. once there please turn right and cross the traffic light . M&J Place Hostel Rome via Solferino 9 .
-From Tiburtina Train Station Take bus 492 to Piazza Independenza. When you get off, follow the bus to the end of the piazza, you are now in Via Solferino. Look on your left for number 9. M&J Place Hostel Rome via Solferino 9 .

Good experience in this hotel where the people are very helpful and nice. The place is very good at only 15 minutes of the colosseo and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. But the creditcard are not accepted and the breakfast is not included in the price, and tehre is a lot of noise from the bar until 2pm. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant days in.

Good hostel, Great Location
The only negative was that we could hear the entry buzzer from our room, which went off all night as people walked through the doors. The breakfast staff were also quite unfriendly. The M&J reception staff were great though

Hello I spent 5 nights in your hostel at the end of October.
I wanted to tell you that I was awakened every night by clients returning to 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning without any discretion and often drunk.I even had two Serb boys who did not hesitate to urinate in the House.
a Council: put signs in the stairwell, in the common rooms, doors to encourage customers to respect the silence.
