About Hostel Utopia
Hostel Utopia is a combination of a hostel and a budget accommodation in the center of Amsterdam. Hostel Utopia is situated next to the famous Dam Square which is also only five minutes’ walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station.
Many restaurants, pubs, discos, coffee shops, the casinos, and theatres are situated around this famous square. There is no doubt that Hostel Utopia is an excellent starting point to discover most charms of Amsterdam.
We also have a hostel owned coffee shop which is the famous Coffee Shop Utopia downstairs so that our dear customers could enjoy joints as well in our hostel.
Our multi-lingual hostel staff are well known for their very friendly service and they will make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible' providing you with excellent excursion packages, out-of-the-city trips and bicycle-car rentals.

How to reach the hotel
1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: Tram 1, 2, 5 and 13 stop in front of the hotel, the first stop from Amsterdam Central Station. The trams in Amsterdam are running normally from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Pourune auberge c est pas mal. Les chambres sont propres. Mais il s agit aussi d un cofee shop alors si vous n aimez pas l odeur de l herbe choisissez un autre endroit. Le personnel est agreable. On ne peut pas payer en carte et vous devez laisser une caution de 10e pour les cles. L hotel est tres bien situe. A 3 minutes de la gare et du centre. Attention de ne pas venir avec de grosses valises car les escaliers sont pentus et tres etroits...

Hotel rather clean, staff very welcoming and friendly, Coffee Shop just below. Recommended for young people who want to stay downtown for cheap.

Hostel tres boiseries, a coté of any amenities (the red-light district 2 min, 2 min of the DAM, 5 min walk from the railway station square central station.)

Hotel cheap but not very clean - provided towels were holes, there were spiders webs...
However, the staff is very nice.
