I was disapointed to have not been accomodated at the same hostel as mentioned in the internet site (the 39 chatsworth road hostel) but in an another place (51 brondesbury road).

I chose this place because it was close to the Kilburn Tube station !

And I discovered at my arrival that I had to walk 15 minutes till the tube station !!! I was really disapointed for that reason.

Except this the place was nice and no problem over there.

In the beginning, I had not reserved in the but Killburn, finally no more bad. It is not the appropriate photos.

Hostel secure code to the portal and key to the door, was a refurbished nine, huge kitchen with table and place for cooking and access to the garden. After you have the washing machine, micro waves across and another small kitchen, a large TV, with chairs and billiard lounge.

However I came in a joint Chamber but I was the only girl with 11 other boys. Showers are correct, and usually other living are cool and respectful. But if you are not going to them, usually they are already in a group.

The Metro station is 8 minutes on foot, walking fairly quietly and 45 min from Piccali Circus.

Good enough on the whole, it is the only hostel which is worthy of to call Inn. Just the lack of kindness of some members of the staff.

Attention, our accommodation has not been to Killburn as indicated on the site, but to Willesden green! We have been transferred in a House, which was divided in rooms.

Apart from this detail, the hostel is nice: clean, functional (triple, equipped with three single beds, rooms are large, with small sofa, table, fridge, small TV). Two showers by fits (for 2 or 3 rooms maxi), water hot, computer with free wifi, household performed, kind staff, 2 kitchens equipped for the House: full of positive points, there is the place!

However, Willesden district is not very well attended. It is in the London suburbs and it feels! It remains however to 15 minutes from the centre of London, by Metro.

We gave the coffee and the teabags to stay, but not of complimentary breakfast at all, other than that.

The photos do not resemble the House where we have slept.

With all the negative comments, I was frightened.

However, there is a relationship between the quality and price more, it's a youth hostel not hotel if you want a hotel pass your turn.

Personally, I have not lived my stay in this hostel because it was in Group 8 so we had a room for us. Therefore no problem of cohabitation or security (Council go y grouped).

The noise level was the 2nd so we were not hampered by music at night.

Not make especially not the mistake to go. This place is more asylum night than the hostel. Old mattresses to saggy Springs covered with stained tissue. no drinking water on tap, any small kitchens on the floors without any equipment, the carpet pulled in the corridors...If you do not want stopping your stay find another address.

The inn is held by nice people, but the experience of sleeping in a 17 bed dorm was hell. Disrespectful people for one's sleep, 3-level bunk beds, there was no hot shower the first night. And if there is a person laughing very loud in the lounge room, you will hear it from your room (maybe not as much if you are in the higher levels of the inn). Also, you have to pay to lock up your labtop and any valuables: £5 deposit + £1 per day. And your suitcases will be at teh reach of anybody in your room. I didn't get stolen anything but I was never secure when I left the inn for the day.

It looks like a not really what I had imagined... But super experience! Atmosphere it's going, the home is nice, not have any worries!

The hostel and between central London and Camden, next station, the metro and bus...

A recommend!

I had two nights in this hostel and leaving I whole body which démangeait me! This because there were small bugs (kind of mini bugs) that are installed on my body!

It is horrible to live and that is inadmissible in terms of hygiene!

On arriving, the reception staff were friendly and check-in was quick, and everything was explained to us clearly. Beyond that, it wasn't so great. The rooms had too many people in them and there wasn't anywhere to put luggage except the floor, although the room was pretty clean. There was only one toilet on the floor I was staying there. The kitchen and lounge were in the basement, and fairly dark and cramped, although again pretty clean. Free breakfast is toast and cereal, which you have to make yourself. The beds are three-tier bunks and so you can't sit up in them, although there is a light in each bed which is good. The windows were open all night because it got stuffy in the dorm, and in the morning the traffic noise was very loud. I was glad I only stayed here one night, but if you do choose to stay here, invest in some ear plugs and maybe find somewhere else to eat breakfast.

Moi et un ami avions réservés 18 nuits dans cet auberge de jeunesse.

Elle est a 5min à peu près de la station Finsbury Park et plutôt bien placée entre les bus passant dans cet rue et autres petites échoppes (coiffeurs, bars, laveries, supérettes, etc...).

Nous avons été un peu surpris de l'acceuil dans l'auberge qui fut rapide et froid. Surtout que l'on doit également payer la totalité du séjour en cash et immédiatement. Nous étions dans un dortoir à 9 avec une salle de bain. Le dortoir est vraiment très petit, donc limité en espace pour les valises. La salle de bain du dortoir est elle aussi très petite et l'hygiène laisse vraiment à désirer... Sans compter que sur notre séjour complet la lumière de la salle de bain ne fonctionnait presque jamais c'est à dire une fois sur trois. Nous étions obligés soit de prendre nos douches à l'extérieur soit dans le noir complet (pas de fenêtres dans la salle de bain). Pour les nuits, il faut juste prier pour s'endormir avant tout les ronfleurs. Je ne parle pas de l'hygiène des lits car je ne sais même pas si les draps sont changés...

La salle principale de l'auberge est très sympa ! Un grand espace avec musique, télés, et billard (1£).

Le wifi est une catastrophe ! Si vous voulez naviguer tranquillement, venez au moment ou il n'y a personne ou au moment ou internet marche. Pareil que la douche, une fois sur trois... Obligé de demander au réceptionniste de régler votre ordinateur qui va bien marcher pendant 1 journée puis retour à la galère !

Malgré cela, une rue très cosmopolitaine et assez sympa.

Si vous venez nombreux, je pense que c'est un bon endroit car à plusieurs l'auberge est beaucoup plus supportable et finalement on y passe très peu de temps. On pense plus à y sortir que y rester.

Ah ! Petite note pour les filles qui n'aiment pas les mecs lourds : un des réceptionnistes à un penchant pour être à l'écoute et coller toutes les filles. Par contre si tu es un mec et que tu es dans le besoin, tu peux allez te brosser ! Deux autres réceptionnistes sont très sympas à cotés de ça !

Auberge très sympa dans un quartier très sympa, à proximité de commerces. Concernant l'hygiène des toilettes et douches, ça reste correcte comparé à certaines auberges. Le seul bémol: les lits... Trop petits, qui craquent et le matelas trop fin. A noter que les draps n'avaient pas été changés à notre arrivée, donc prévoir vos propres draps et taies.

The hostel, for money is very good.

The common areas are the best of all, lounge and hall very extensive in that they can do whatever you want.

The people are incredibly friendly and help you in everything they can.

The room in which I stayed was very very very small, despite having 9 beds. The beds are not as comfortable in the world but are not bad.

The only downside I put is to the baths, which in the majority of rooms are shared with others (boys separated from girls). The showers are very small and uncomfortable. It was not the best time of the day but hey...

In general, recommended taking into account its price!

Jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu w tym hostelu. Regularnie będę odwiedzać to miejsce. Pokoje czyste, pracowali tam bardzo przyjaźni ludzie były. Codziennie rano serwowano śniadanie (tosty, płatki, kawa, herbata, dżem, ser, wędlina) - nie było wydzielonych porcji, jadł ile chciał każdy. Do dyspozycji były komputery z Internetem, biblioteczka, gry i telewizor. Na parterze znajdował się pub-stołówka. Royal były czyste i w dobrym stanie. W hostelu jest też kuchnia, gdzie każdy może sobie dodatkowy posiłek przygotować. MOIM zdaniem aż zadziwiający standard jest w porównaniu z niską ceną.

I stayed there one night, bed ok, shower with hot water, breakfast included and the price was very fair. Only negatif point: it takes nearly an hour to the city center.

Conclusion: If you're looking for a cheap hostel in London, N8 is exactly what you're looking for.

PS: I recommend to buy an Oyster Card, Tube is f**** expensive if you take a one way ticket; 7,00 pounds per direction from N8 to the city center.

My friends and I Katherine can't looking for hotel exlucsive or anything. We wanted to stay in London for cheap. This hostel is an hour from the city centre, breakfast is always set for everybody.

It's veeeery warm in the hostel and rooms so don't worry if you do not like cold;) Don't expect your room to be like on the picture on the right as there are man rooms and I stayed in shared 18 (i think) people room. This was a very dark room as there was one small window goal what do you need the room for? Get some sleep and that's it, get over it.

Cleaning staff was cleaning bathrooms and kitchen everyday. It was nice and tidy. You can meet a lot of people from all over the world and stay with them in a pub!

As I was reading some opinions, people were saying it was so loud off the pub. It wasn't the case during my stay.

I can't complain about anything I didn't expect much from the hostel!

I came 7 nights during the period of November 2011. The sheets are very clean, the rooms also. The home people speak English French Italian and Spanish, rather practical given the large number of Spanish!

Showers are not very practical, doors coats are outside the shower, which requires us to be "naked" in the room where everyone back. Step top!

The corridors are very tight, not practical when it is the 4th floor with a big suitcase!

The pre-analysis home is a plus for this hostel.

Hostel practice for sleeping and showering fast fact, not too far from the city centre.

I am delighted of this youth hostel. Warm welcome, very clean hostel (showers, rooms, bed sheets). The largest dormitories are 8 beds so it is not on each other. Hostel which was one of the most competitive rates (5 nights for 2 persons £ 100). The hostel is in zone 1, so it is very practical and not even 5 minutes walk from bayswater underground station. I also like the decoration of the Inn. It is on the next time I'm going to London I selected this hostel. Beds are not exceptional but it sleeps well especially after long days of visit. In addition we had very sympathetic roommates who met other sleep. However it has neither tried cooking, fridge or the small dej to £ 1.5 per person. I have no criticism to make. Please not a second and choose this hostel.

I spent 5 nights in this hostel with my brother. The welcome is warm, it happens to find at least a member of the staff who speak our language which may sometimes be good practice. We were in a dormitory of 8 beds, room was clean, bed sheets also mornings household is made in the House. We had very friendly roommates from the sleep of the other. The beds are comfortable finally it is not the top but it is still very well. Showers and toilets are very clean. I have no objection to this youth hostel. I spent a very pleasant stay. I also found the decor very nice. I've not tested the breakfast £ 1.5, it did not made the kitchen was not bad air, and were not used the fridge either. The nights are really not expensive to some hostels. And in addition the hostel is located in zone 1 to not even 5 minutes walk to the first metro station (bayswater). We arrived at 4 for the holidays of February 2012; already there to wait 30 minutes time that the owner got the papers, then visit our "apartments", 1 dirty for the floor, about 20 people shower and 1 toilet without paper, even after asking for toilet paper! Not cool owner, that the second day we accused of not having paid for the remaining nights, heuresement we had kept the copy of the receipt! A key for 4 people, no record in the rooms, no common room, a kitchen, are even not talking about the micro wave! Petit déjeuné including: a cup of tea. everything else is paying! A not recommended! Nice step, not own, and very poorly organized!

Zenith Hostel is a very well located hostel. Nevertheless, the home, the Organization, and hygiene appear to beings of fuzzy concepts: the innkeeper reservation system is disjointed (he does not know who booked when, and for how long, more reservations did not correspond to the agreed service).

Hygiene is an issue that must be raised: water flows very hurt in evacuations of water: hair and hair, it clog. The bouquet of mould and fungi is very wide in sanitary. The carpet was sticky and tâchée.

The beds and sheets could contribute to excellent nights, if they felt not sweating...

I am aware that for 10 euros at night, should not if wait a night hotel, but hygiene is more than summary.

VERY BAD experience.

Hostel was very dodgy looking. I arrived at 12 pm and rang the buzzer for about 5 minutes and no one answered. I called the hostel phone and no one answered too. We were tired from the long journey and waiting that long wasn't a pleasant experience. We were let in by one of the guest who so happen went back in to the hostel. She let us in and we went to the office but no one was there. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the 'manager' to come back.

Check in was OK. Not that great. We even had to pay a 10 pound deposit. It wasn't stated anywhere on the website.

Oh, and towel, They told us it is not provided and we had to pay (this was not stated on the website). Later on in the day when i decided to pay for a towel. The guy at the reception told me "I'm sorry we don' t have clean towel."

The room size was ok but the toilet is really SMALL. Room was extremely disappointing. Carpet was so soiled and there were stains all over the carpet. We had 2 bunk bed and 1 bunk bed was missing a step, exposing some really sharp metal frame, and the other bunk bed had no side rail on the top bed. Mattress were worn out as when u sit on the beds, you could feel the springs poking into your body.

Breakfast was ok but there were tons of flies in that room.

This has been a bad experience for ALL of us And I would not recommend this place to anyone or return here.

Would have been nice if I could have shared a room with my friends, however the girls in the dorm were lovely. a clean hostel, the Manager is nice, ca rest in a setting quite limit or vou can make knowledge! the only problem is that the rooms are a little small for certain and that he may miss some records but overall I enjoyed! and especially especially it's own!

The location is brilliant, five minutes from the tube station and Camden high street and opposite bus stop. The place had a friendly vibe and the social area, kitchen and garden are comfortable and relaxed. Everything seemed clean and the lockers were fine (after reading some reviews we were worried they wouldn't can't be up to scratch but they all worked and did the job). There is additional baggage storage available for £ 1.50 a day, which is very reasonable. I left a bag there for the day after we had checked out. All in all it was a good experience, I'd definitely stay here again.

The hostel is very well located (at a few metres from a beautiful park and Metro station). The double Chamber that deal were redone for nine with a private shower room and everything was very clean. the home was very sympathetic.

I have not enjoyed my stay.

The facade was work and was not mentioned on the site, at the time the workers that continental in your room all day it is great-not to mention the noise from 7 a.m. has 18 h in the evening (even Saturday)! Cleanliness is unsatisfactory. Cleaning in the House is put dirt on the sides see under beds... showers ca va but toilets should not be too large, otherwise it is hard out and they are rarely clean. Overnight there is noise that either inside or outside of the hotel people residing there are the party all night and have no regard for others (the home people say nothing of course). Breakfast consists of toast with butter and jam (collectif) served in plastic cutlery. Security does not work very well, we are returned twice and the door was wide open... In short I do not at all appreciate this youth hostel (where there was any age) and I strongly advises against the. price/quality review very seriously I think. One positive point is a 1 minute of the Bayswater underground.

Very good report quality/price location is ideal people who work there are very nice. The room is a little small.

A very nice hostel, warm and all what is at hand (internet 1 pound the half hour, breakfast slice of bread and cereals, bar,...)!

It is also very well placed, allowing you to use only a few Metro station...

In short a very pleasant stay, I recommend this hostel for all persons seeking accommodation in the centre of London for very cheap!

I am 50 years old and I just spent 4 nights in this with my 22 year old daughter Youth Hostel: perfect! nothing to say. My fears and my past experiences, the hostel was quiet. The home is very pleasant. Employees do not speak French but were able to adapt to our English (speak slowly, write, repeat....).

We had a dormitory for 6 people but we have virtually no company during our stay.

This hostel is a former hotel, so we had a bathroom / wc in our room: very practical!

The breakfast is "Summary" but correct.

Located near hyde park, this hostel is very well placed: PCO to restaurants nearby for diners. Oxford Street and Regent Street are two steps.... by Metro.

Good, because he must find a flaw: he is very very hot in the breakfast room. Select the table that is located near the fan!

In short, I am glad to have chosen this hostel and I the advise to my friends who want to visit London.

I found this hostel for student very nice. The big room (for 24 people) is very quiet and there is a lot of space. The staff is very nice. I expected worse for the price so with my two other friends we were surprised in a good way. The beds are comfortables, the showers are small but clean and i was happy to let my stuff in the room without any danger of steal. The fact that there is no breakfast included in the price and that the kitchen closed after midnight are the only things annoying. But we are very satisfied by this hostel for student, i think we'll come back there next time. And effectively if you choose to go in a cheap place in London, don't be too demanding! Anyway, even if you don't like the place where you're sleep it's just for the night and London is so marvelous!

It's not bad, the beds are nice and the staff is quite nice. The worst thing are the showers, there are very few and they are pretty bad... besides, there are very few plugs on the rooms (at least in mone). Anyway, if you are planning to use it only for sleeping and showering, it's nice.

At the level of the location is perfect!

However the hostel is fairly murky, no decoration at all, scotch pr paste the carpet, room pr 4 very close people, scratchy parquet, shower not top,...

However, the beds were comfortable and the prices should not expect much better

No. avalable towels, and a little noisy, but for the rest, no problem!

Chambres pas forcément très propres mais assez comfortable pour le peu de temps qu'on and passe.

Le petit déjeuner est parfait if vous savez vous IDM avec confiture/nutella/beurre pain Virtuozzo.

Le personnel n' n'est pas toujours très accueillant et serviette toilette qui est censée être including dans le prix vous est en fait facturée à 2 £: on vous demande £ 10 of caution quand vous pedegree in arrivant et on ne vous yield than 8 £ séjour finally.

Sinon l 'auberge est proche du métro et de nombreux commerces, c' est très agréable.

very nice home, small pleasant and large dej, impeccable bedding. Except: j ' was impressed by the price of the bar. I thought that the price would be adapted "mowed special students", but not. Super Hostel in the district at 20 meters from the DLR and Greenwich very nice. The bistro in the hostel provides the atmosphere and allows well relax on returning home from his day to the English League. The staff is available and helpful. We spent a pleasant stay the hostel is clean and warm. The ambience on the team of staff is very pleasant and friendly. It is not trivial to have discounts on food and drinks served at the bar. from classic breakfast was really nice and not expensive. Single flat hostel is quite noisy.

This is very good price/quality ratio.

The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The only issue I found was luggage storage in the room. It was quite difficult to pull the under bed cage out and it was quite noisy at night. It was also a little small to fit my bag inside, even when emptied. Other than that, fantastic! Especially the food and drink discounts! :-D-

Home nice and patient of the staff of the hostel, the atmosphere was the appointment, especially in the annex pub in the hostel. We appreciate its location, close to the heart of London.

L'auberge est située un peu loin du centre mais elle est très facile d'accès tout de même, même de nuit avec le bus (moins de 30 min du centre de Londres...). Le quartier est en plus très agréable et calme! Je recommande cet endroit!

Far better than I expected. Nice pub at the bottom floor, and pleasant atmosphere in the facility. I met there really interesting people from as far as Australia and Canada and other sides. Highly recommended.

It's a great hostel to stay. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean. But there is also a lot of drunk people that it's become annoying.

The hostel is very nice, is accessed rather easily, tram and Metro nearby room and own bath room, calm and security, the staff is very welcoming, I will not hesitate to return on my next stay!

For a short stay in London.

As in most hostels, it is not here for the beds, or for breakfast. It is just one foot on land to visit London. I chose the formula dormitories 20 people, the most advantageous.

The strong points are the location, you are in the middle of London and go to the Center in 10 minutes. Second strong point: the price. In any case, the period where I went, I paid the week €58. Nothing to say.

Weak points. Relatively dirty hostel, the household is no everyday (in any case in the dormitories). Not always pleasant staff, unnecessary to provide information. A rather expensive internet access, £ 1.50 for 1 h 15 or €1.80 (very expensive). And finally a breakfast provided that should not even try (orange juice (mixed with water, a taste of Medicine), toast with butter, jam (one), milk (cold), hot water, chocolate and the Nescafé (do not rely on your hot chocolate therefore).) It would be better not to provide breakfast to provide a such a quality.

For many hostels in many parts of the world (Barcelona, Rome, New York, Auckland, Wellington)... It is the worst that I could test. Of course, with its price and its situation, it is not too looking.

This Hostel, point by point: Kitchen: 1 spoon, 1 plate, 1 fork, 1 saucepan, 1....

If you are lucky, you are the one in the hostel. In the contrary case, good luck to use the kitchen...

Breakfast: cornflakes with milk, bread and jam.

Bedroom: I was in the bedroom of 12 person. Around 15 square meter per person 12... The air is satured and the hygiene isn't here... Impossible to sleep. Moreover if you have others next to you who laugh at 3.am at the center of the room. Light all on...

Common room: Just 2 couch to watch the TV... I repeat my previous commentary: "If you are lucky, you are the one in the hostel."...

Place: Not close of anything. Around 20 minutes on foot to see the London Eye or Big Ben... The underground is at 15 minutes on foot... Very "" nice"" when It rains...

Staff: Not friendly at all...

Conclusion: I don't encourages you to stay at this place... A lot of Hostel are available at London and if you want have a cool rest, then, don't stay at this place.

A good quality/price ratio. The hostel is located in a nice and lively, area 5 minutes from the Metro. The rooms and sanitary are summary but clean. The rooms are quiet and overlooking a street very little bandwidth.

The only negative point: mattresses, which are really not terrible (springs, sounds...) but when they spent the day walking it does not sleep!

The people are pretty friendly and the staff too.There are no towels which was a problem for me, because i had to dry my body in my big t-shirt.After people shower and u come in it is like an ocean on the floor.The bed is pretty comftarable but too narrow.Toillets are clean.

Kitchen is OK, and the TV room is a bit to small.

But besides all from the above, puts a lot of people and had fun.

The best thing this hostel offers is the location and the nice view from the room.
