At only a 10 minute walk from the 'Busabout' pick up and drop off point, Hotel André Gill is a charming, quiet, clean, family run establishment, located at the heart of Montmartre. Perfect for those travelling on a budget, this 2 star hotel can be found on Andre Gill Street, a little side street off of Martyrs Street, famous for its atmosphere, restaurants, bars, cabarets and concert halls (Michou, Madame Arthur, Le divan du Monde, La Cigale)area very . Ideally located, Andre Gill is just a few steps away from the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, Place du Tertre and less than five minutes from the lively Pigalle district, Moulin Rouge, Grands Boulevards (Galeries Lafayette, Printemps), not far from Champs Elysées and Eiffel Tower
. The attractive paintings of Montmartre which decorate the hotel are the works of local artists on Tertre Square. We are situated in Montmartre Village, a mere 5 minute walk from Sacre Coeur, and just 2 minutes from metro station Pigalle/Abbesse. the adress is 76, rue des martyres and it a dead end witch is Rue André Gill.

Das Hotel ist günstig und die Lage (Sackgasse in einer Nebenstrasse) sehr gut.
Insgesamt wirkt das Hotel aber schmuddelig (unsauber) und hat besonders im Flur ein ekligen gestank. Ich finde es auch unschön, wenn überall die Katzen und Hunde der Hotelbesitzer rumlaufen.
Nicht gut ist auch, dass die Schlüssel nicht dauernd bewacht werden und nicht in einem Schlüsselschrank abgeschlossen sind. (dies haben schon viele bemängelt). Wir haben unseren Schlüssel daher nie abgegeben.
Das Frühstück ist schlecht. Aufgebackene Croissonts und altes Bagguett.
Die Besitzer sind aber freundlich
Ich würde beim nächsten mal lieber etwas mehr ausgeben und ein anderes Hotel auswählen.

We were with 2 adults and two children for 4 Übenachtungen at the hotel André Gill. We have found a very friendly and children friendly reception. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, if also Spartan (folding table, 2 folding chairs, a Cabinet, two beds, nothing else.) The beds were very satisfactory even the bathroom, just functional.
Since the Hotel Montmartre surrounded by bistros and venues (Cigall, 500 metres from Moulin Rouge, Pigalle) is located, had to be taken into the night passers-by noise on the street in purchase.
The location in the Nice Stichstraße, this was somewhat alleviated.
We have enjoyed it in the evening again by the district or 10 minutes high sacre Coeur to go to. We would go to again.

Excellent for that price. The receptionists were very kind and helpful, the room was okay, we didn't expect anything else. If anyone wants to go to Paris for cheap price I can suggest this. The Pigalle has very good public transport.

Excelente ubicación, antención recepción muy agradable y correcta. Pueden mejorar las poco camas, in especial los colchones. Limpio, seguro, tranquilo. Volvería y lo recomiendo.

Comodo, limpio, tranquilo, muy although ubicado, excelente atencion. Muy buena relacion calidad precio. Volvería sin duda. Estuve in acomodacion triple con baño privado.

Although, impeccable cleanliness. pleasant room.
But the breakfast room is too exigüe. Also it is a pity that one cannot have a minimum of dishes available. What are the micro wave and fridge in this case there?

perfect for a stay of a few days.Located in a narrow street in the beautiful quarter Pigalle metro to 2 steps and supermarkets nearby.The staff is very friendly, the rooms are small but comfortable.Inexpensive enough

Really, Really nice place, with incredible kind staff. Just in the center of Paris night life (Pigalle) nice and confortable rooms, characteristic bohemian style.
